Daen 286 (1982 - 2005)
On Wednesday, November 23, 2005, Daen was laid to rest here at Poole Training Center after a 2 week fight for his life.
No matter how long we are in the horse business this only gets harder for Blanchard and myself each time we have to say good-bye to a very dear friend.
There has never been and never will be a more noble, gentle, kind (words cannot express) stallion on this earth.
I know for many of you this will be very difficult news to receive as many of you loved Daen as much as all of us here. Daen, we all dearly loved you and miss you more than words can ever express.

Black Zachariah 1984 – 2012
On Sunday, May 27, 2012,
Zach pranced down the drive as he had done so many times before and was laid to rest at
Poole Training Center.
Zach has been fighting for his life since the first of November 2011 when he injured his back playing in the pasture.
With a heart as big as all outdoors he fought a great fight.
For all of us who loved him, it was hard to say good-bye.
For Cathy Hoffman, who owned Zach all these years she would like to believe Jehovah does have a special place for the animals…and this is what it looks like.
His heart and mind was strong but his body was tired and ready to go and rest.
